Mohamed Znaidi, (1921-2016, Kélibia, Tunisia), is considered an emblem of food industry in the Cap Bon region. At his early age, he started out as a farmer then rapidly got interested in entrepreneurship. He entered as a shareholder of the food company Comocap (Conserveries Modernes du Cap Bon), where he significantly contributed to the company’s rapid growth during the 1960s.

In 1974, he co-founded STICAP (Société Tunisienne Industrielle du Cap Bon) in the locality of Dar Allouch, Cap Bon, where he developed the production of canned food (tomato paste, harissa and fruit jam). During the same period, he launched the Zitouna oil mill, specializing in the production of extra virgin olive oil.

After twenty successful years at STICAP, Mohamed Znaidi created Znaidi Food Industries (ZINA), in 1996, with the ambition of promoting both industrial culture and expertise of the Znaidi family.
